The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE Looks Like it was Designed in Japan !

The stock Chevy Camaro ZL1 is an absolute beast of a car, and unfortunately for us, the Japanese sports cars lovers, it can handle corners pretty well too. Apparently the Americans don't think the ZL1 is good enough so they added the 1LE element to make it even faster and better looking.

The Camaro ZL1 1LE debuted yesterday (24, 2017) on the Daytona International Speedway. This is the Camaro concept Chevy tested last year at the Nurburgring, which most websites identified as the Z/28. There is no doubt that this all new sports car is capable and it's good looking too.

Downforce

Downforce, downforce, downforce, as if this was shouted constantly to the designers when having in mind the 1LE. The car looks extremely aerodynamically optimized for the track, there is a huge front splitter and big dive planes that make the car look even more aggressive and desirable, there is also a enormous rear wing, an element we are used to see on some of the best JDM cars, but not here. There is also a large sexy front grill that's feeding the engine with the air it needs to put out those stallions into work ! Team Chevy has definitely learned a lot from the Japanese and especially the Europeans. The car looks like JDM legend with a DTM bodykit with the masculine presence of a true American muscle. In fact many have considered the Camaro to be on of the best classic muscle cars .

Power !

The standard 6.2-liter v8 Lt4 is what we'll find here, but it feels ever so alive and potent. It purposefully puts all those 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque into work ! Unfortunately for some, and luckily for people like me, the ZL1 1LE won't be ruined by a sluggish American auto shifter, the only option available would be a six speed manual. A decent addition to the top 10 american muscle cars .

Suspension

Cornering flat ? Yes it can ! The most significant and noticeable change in the ZL1 1LE model is the suspension of the car. The car uses one of them fancy named suspension systems - the Multimatic's genius spool-valve dampers but amazingly it works. The make the car more nimble and secure in the corners it feels a bit more stiff and planted than the standard ZL1.

It's lighter

The optimization of the suspension and some key components means that the car lost some weight too. It still has a stereo and the everyday comforts but it lost some healthy 60 lbs. The 1LE also gets awesome forged 19s, purposefully built for racing. On them we find the super sticky - ultra wide Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires - 325mm at the back and 305 in the front, in comparison the standard car rindes on 285 at the front and 305s in the rear. Yes they are big, those are infact the biggest tires fitted to a Camaro. Brakes come from the renowned Brembo and are sure to put the car into full stop every time.

In conclusion, the new updated passes an already fast concept through the prism of optimized aerodynamics and puts out an even faster and more desireble car. Chevy is certainly going the right way with their sports cars department. Like it or not the Camaro is slowly turning into one of the best muscle cars to build .
