barn find of the year

It is a shared dream for many car enthusiasts to buy an old house with a barn like this and find a valuable collection of automotive treasure with some of the expensive luxury car brands. This happened to a 21-year-old car collector known be the name of Vince Hernandez, who posted the photos of his recent treasure find on his Instagram.

He recently got a storage facility in the sunny coastal state of California. The building itself had se seen better days but to his surprise the inside of the building consisted of a serious collection of both retro exotics and cool old muscle cars.
Although most of these cars will probably need a deep clean this fabulous collection of sports cars is virtually untouched. Most importantly this is the first time these sports cars see the sun rays since the 1980s when they were left here.
And this is no just a random barn find either, among the cars there are several highly desirable pieces of art. The collection consists of two brand new Porsche 911 speedsters with just 41 miles on the clock, the sports cars basically like all sport model cars with a layer of dust on top, some Lamborghini Countachs and an all original Ford Mustang GT500, commissioned by the late Carroll Shelby himself, said by some to be top luxury american cars ever! All of the cool sports cars are with an extremely low mileage .

The 911 Speedster

For what seemed like forever, faithful Porsche has turned out nice sports cars one after another the list of Porsche cars that are great is quite long. Not only that but lots of times these beauties packed quite a punch inside too. One of these brawn-meets-beauty machines is the wonderful bu limited production 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster.

This model was first marked at the time that the “Speedster” moniker was slapped on a Porsche in 30 years, as the last one was the 1959 Porsche 356 Speedster .
With its stylish exterior lines and extremely high-powered , for the time, six-cylinder engine, this model indeed helped thrust Porsche back into the place it once was.

What's a Countach?

The Lamborghini Countach is a furious mid-engined, sports car with a V12 engine that was produced by Italian car manufacturer Lamborghini from years 1974 to 1990. Its design had pioneered and popularized the wedge-shaped and most importantly sharply angled look popular in many high-performance sports cars. It has also popularized the "cab forward" design concept, by which it pushes the passenger compartment forward to fit in a larger engine.

In 2004, the American car magazine "Sports Car International" named the car to be number three on the list of Top Sports Cars of the 1970s, and it was listed in number ten on their list of Top Sports Cars of the 1980s.
Unfortunatelly the details about whom this house of dreams belongs to are really scarce. Anyway Vince Hernandez is really lucky to have these cars in his collection. Their total estimate cost is more than 2 million dollars !

The collection also consists of a few top performance and highly desirable cars like a Ferrari 400, a 62 Series Cadillac, a rare Buick GSX and a the mighty member of the old American muscle cars - the 1969 Hemi Charger! This could only happen in America !
