Nissan Silvia S16
The Silvia S16 will be powered by 2.0l engine. This translates to a whopping 217lb per ft torque, as well as over 200bhp.
Nissan, in its publications, has claimed that the front seated engine and its rear wheel driven coupe has been built by engineers from Renault and Nissan. Its torque really stands out. Why? It’s be the first in its line to effectively challenge the both the Subaru and Scion FS-R/BZ. In fact, it can beat the Scion in a 0-62km/h sprint.
The new Nissan Silvia S16 is smaller sized than the previous design. Its exterior is bound to be upgraded from that of the existing version. It will be sturdier and more efficient for its class. And of course, it will retain the executive and friendly look of the 2015 version. In addition, with the current version’s exterior having been built to withstand all kinds of environmental conditions, we expect nothing less of the new Nissan Silvia S16.
Besides the 2.0l engine, there’ll be an option to fit it with a 1.8l Mercedes engine. This is the same engine powering the Mercedes’ C180. What can it do? It can reach 156bhp at 1600rpm and 15484lb/ft of torque at 4200rpm.

Little is known of the intricate details of the interior design. The company’s yet to officially release them. But that hasn’t stopped spy reports from doing rounds. The new Silvia S16 will have enough cabin space to ensure comfort for us 5 travelers. This is in addition to the conventional functions of SAT-NAV/Infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, quality audio system and the like.
NISSAN SILVIA S16 RELEASE DATE AND PRICE
Though Nissan is yet to announce the official pricing and release date, the model is estimated to cost $24,000. Professionals approximate that the version will be ready by the 3rd Quarter of 2016, so all we have to do is wait.
