This is a stroke-reduced version of the 3.0 V6 TDI CR. This engine literary our minds when it came out, a bi-turbo v6 DIESEL engine ! Audi left a lot of space for aftermarket development, chip tuning was a must ! It came out for the A4, A5 and A6. Serious contender to the BMW V6 bi-turbo diesel !
Reliability was a liability, the engine by itself was build to last, but the components that surround it, like the turbos are bound to fail before reaching 200 000km on the odo.
