Japanese automakers have ascended the auto industry’s ladder to become some of the most popular and consumer friendly in the whole world.

Honda was the eighth largest auto-mobile manufacturer in the world behind General Motors, Volkswagen Group, Toyota, Hyundai Motor Group, Ford, Nissan, and PSA in 2011.

Hondas are very popular because they are reasonably priced, very durable, have excellent fuel efficiency and are very sport orientated. There is also a sub culture developed by the fans!

S2000 CR

 0-60 mph in 5.5s

Honda also built a performance variant of the S2000, dubbed the S2000 CR, for ‘Club Racer.’ The CR variant is a big sleeker and sexier, and also just a tad bit faster. By Car and Driver‘s testing data, the CR beat out its base model sibling just barely in the 0-60 time, coming in at 5.5 seconds. A planned 1,400 of these cars were built, and went on sale to the public for around $37,000. The main difference between the S2000 and the CR variant lie in the details; the CR is a bit lighter in weight, and has some design quirks to achieve quicker speeds.
