Although the only limits on turbo tuning are your wallet and imagination, there are still a few steps to begin with that are wise to do for good performance increases on any turbo car.

5 Effective Turbo Tips

1. REMAPPED ECU

If you do just one modification to your turbo car, make it a remap. Nothing – and we mean nothing – gives more gains for the cash on an otherwise standard turbo motor than a remap. This gives decent all round increases and takes as little as 30min to do.

Stage One is a specially produced remap for your vehicle. It has been designed to work with a standard or lightly upgraded vehicle to produce  impressive performance improvement and drivability, not forgetting  fuel economy, smoothness and boost levels (if applicable).

StageTwo builds on the base of the Stage One remap allowing for upgrades such as  Hybrid Turbos, FMICs (intercooler), downpipes, exhausts and induction kits etc. This allows us to obtain the best possible outcomes, also allowing you the opportunity to tailor your driving experience by telling us exactly how you like your car to behave and how you wish the increased power to be delivered.

Stage Three is the ultimate upgrade  for your vehicle. Taking into account for larger upgrades such as
- Larger Turbos
- Larger Injectors
By appointment only as access to our dyno needs to be booked in advance.

2. FULL EXHAUST SYSTEM

Many turbo cars have very restrictive exhausts, so a full system can make a huge difference. We would recommend a turbo-back system though, as the downpipe is often the most restrictive part.

3. INDUCTION KIT

Although many would suggest heat soak from a cone filter is a bad thing, an induction kit is usually less restrictive than the standard airbox, improving breathing and transforming the sound of the engine too
